Milo Tang

Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at the University of Auckland, with interests in power systems, renewable energy integration, grid analysis, and electricity distribution networks.

About Me

I am currently developing practical skills in power system analysis, load flow studies, electrical network modelling, and engineering documentation. My goal is to build a career in the power and energy sector, with a focus on distribution networks, grid reliability, and renewable energy integration.

Technical Interests

Projects

Power System Load Flow and EV Impact Study

Analysed the impact of electric vehicle load growth on transmission network performance, including load flow convergence, voltage violations, and branch overloading.

Key focus areas:

Buck Converter Simulation and Analysis

Modelled and analysed a DC-DC buck converter, including duty cycle operation, switching behaviour, inductor current, and output voltage characteristics.

Key focus areas:

Distribution Network Modelling

Built a basic electrical network model for load flow analysis and voltage profile assessment.
